Renewable energies are recognized as one of the most effective strategies to address climate change. The use of resources such as solar, wind, and hydropower can serve as a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels, playing a key role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating global warming. The aim of this study is to examine the role and impact of renewable energies in climate change and in achieving sustainable development. The research method is library-based, relying on scientific sources, research articles, and international reports for analysis. The findings reveal that the widespread adoption of renewable energies not only decreases carbon emissions but also enhances energy security, improves environmental quality, and creates economic and employment opportunities. The results highlight that transitioning toward greater use of clean energy can be one of the most effective solutions for combating the climate crisis and ensuring a sustainable future for the next generations. Achieving this goal requires proper policymaking, investment in advanced technologies, and global cooperation.
