Abstract

Cancer is a deadly disease that has plagued mankind for a long time and many people in the world suffer from it. However, cancer treatment has not been very successful due to the limited access of drugs to cancer tissue, intolerable toxicity and multiple drug resistance. In recent years, new methods for cancer treatment have been developed that nanotechnology is one of the most effective ways to treat and diagnose cancer. Prevention, early detection and treatment have been the main applications of nanotechnology in cancer. The purpose of this article is to provide insight into various aspects of nanotechnology in cancer treatment. which has been done through a review method by reading in reliable scientific sites and studing reliable articles. The results show that cancer nanotechnology provides a unique technology against cancer through early detection, prevention using nanoparticles and quantum dots. Nano biotechnology plays an important role in the discovery of cancer environmental markers. Quantum dots, magnetic nanoparticles and gold nanoparticles. have been developed as carriers of environmental molecules that can detect environmental markers of cancer. Cancer diagnosis and status with the help of nanoparticles include environmental molecules such as proteins, antibody fragments, DNA fragments and RNA fragments as the basis of cancer biomarkers.
